Welcome to the home of Ashbourne RFC.
Ashbourne RFC is Leinster League club situated in Ashbourne, Co. Meath. Founded in 1974, the club has grown to be a community based club, inclusive and reaching out to engage with as many as possible in the town and hinterland, stretching both into Meath and north Dublin (Fingal). The club now fields teams in both the men and Womens Leinster leagues and has boys and girls teams down to 6 year olds.
We currently have 4 Adult, 9 Youth & 6 Mini teams.
Ashbourne Rugby Club was conceived by eight founding fathers, in the village hall in Ashbourne, in March 1974. A subsequent gathering of approximately forty at THE HUNTER’S MOON set the club in motion. Ned Nulty, on his farm
