2010

In 2010/2011 saw Ashbourne return to Division 1 or as it was now known as Division 1b. In 2009 the club lost a promotion/relegation game in Coolmine against Garda to narrowly miss out; so the job was done the following season. The club went about consolidating its position.

The clubs love affair with the Provincial Towns Cup continued. In 2010/2011 the club went to Naas to contest the final of the Plate and lost out to Enniscorthy in a very tight game. The club followed this up the following season with a great quarter-final win at Cill Dara with a last minute penalty from Paul Morris, only to go out to Tullow in the semifinal, also at Cill Dara. 2012 also saw the on-going development work continuing with the addition of the artificial training area.
