Ashbourne U15’s v Old Belvedere U15’s
It was a return fixture as Old Belvedere travelled to Ashbourne RFC on Sunday 27th November. Ashbourne ran out winners in the previous match two weeks earlier and again turned in a fantastic display to win comfortably.
The Ashbourne forward pack were brilliant on the day with Odhran McDonnell, Robert Gough and Alexander Douglas making big tackles in defense and leading the start of attack for the backs to run in a multiple of tries on the day.
The link between forwards and backs during the match was great to see with some impressive skillful running rugby. Ashbourne are away to North Kildare next Sunday 4th December.

Specsavers Sponsorship of the Ashbourne Under 18's
Ashbourne Rugby Club depends on its sponsorship and yesterday we were pleased with our U18 squad wearing jerseys sponsored by Specsavers from their local branch in Ashbourne Town Centre.
The squad is pictured before their home Leinster Schools/Youth League clash with local rivals Ratoath.
To add to the day the squad won 19-17 and looked great in their new Jerseys kindly sponsored by SPECSAVERS.

Local derby on Saturday and Boyne coming showing good form. So it should be a great game and Ashbourne Rugby Club would welcome all your support. Entrance is FREE. Kick off at 2.30pm
The seconds play the same opposition ahead of the main game at 1.00pm
Ashbourne take the spoils in Navan
An Ashbourne team made of a selection of the 20's and a number of other players played a return match against Navan, in Navan. Ashbourne had won the first friendly in Ashbourne a few weeks ago and the return was played on Friday.
It proved to be a successful visit to our neighbours with Ashbourne pulling off a 26 points to 7 win. It was neck and neck for much of the first half with Ashbourne scoring first but being pegged back by Navan to tie at 7 all.
Ashbourne pulled away and ran out winners. The scores came from Andrew Gibson with 2 tries; Dylan Mahon and Michael Young adding one each while Niall Andrews hit 3 conversions.
Well done lads!

Please come along and support our AB under 16 girls in their Leinster Cup semi-final against Athy.
The team has worked so hard to get here with some very impressive performances in the competition so far. Overcoming Clontarf, Portlaoise and Longford in the earlier rounds, they have shown real determination to come through whilst playing some exciting rugby scoring 25 tries along the way.
Kick off on the main pitch in Ashbourne Rugby Club is at 12.30 tomorrow Saturday 19th November.
