Ashbourne seconds also had a convincing win as well against the same club. A great performance saw them run out winners by a score of 29 points to 5. In took the home side team to break down the visitors but with good performances from Connolly, Schutz, Toolan and McCreevy in the backline while Keegan returned from a 6-week injury and Boland and Boyle made up a solid front row.
