Ashbourne 2nds XV also played the same opposition as a curtain raiser and beat Enniscorthy to take away their unbeaten record this season. A,10 points to 8 win with a Kelan Toolan last gasp effort snatching the win. Gavin Kennedy had his first start in 15 months.
Ashbourne had lead at halftime with a Matt Connolly try being converted by Toolan. But it was all Enniscorthy in the second half and they had worked themselves into a 8 points to 7 lead nearing the end. But come the hour and come the boot of Toolan!
